Now you just need to update it every day.

And don't try to convince me that you told me about your blog before. I will deny everything.tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07600335194889137450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18942841.post-1140894961697805932006-02-25T11:16:00.000-08:002006-02-25T11:16:00.000-08:00Hey thanks for visiting my site Hobess! The piece...Hey thanks for visiting my site Hobess! The piece you linked to and asked about was a panel from the comic book Rex Mundi I worked on for a couple of issues. It's an aerial photo of Zaragoza Spain. Basically I drew everything in the foreground and middle-ground. Then I painted it all up traditionally with watercolor and some ink washes to bring out some of the oranges, dark colors, and sepias, then I scanned it in and popped in some photo elements that were actually from my (our) trip to Prague for some of the background city elements. Then I digitally painted some parts of it and made it all cohesive and atmospheric and voila! It was a lot of fun & I REALLY appreciate your interest in it :)

Thanks for popping by, and yeah, I don't think I've EVER met a "Bruce" in my life actually -- hmm? You'd think with Bruce Lee, Bruce Willis, and Bruce Campbell there'd be more of a resurgence of that name especially...?

Thanks for knowing I was kidding you about the superhero baby name thingie :) -- I'm glad my friendly sarcasm translated!

JimJim Di Bartolohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07620158692319824216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18942841.post-1140796036176598702006-02-24T07:47:00.000-08:002006-02-24T07:47:00.000-08:00Hey! Thanks for answering the baby-name question ....Hey! Thanks for answering the baby-name question ... I actually like the alter-ego ideas. They also would bring back some solid old names. Who names there boy Bruce anymore?

Had a great time checking out your website (several times, actually). Can you tell me about this one? I really like it.

http://www.jimdibartolo.com/Main%20menu%20page/rm15samplepnl1.htmlHoBesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10094740252136028478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18942841.post-1140193797822015142006-02-17T08:29:00.000-08:002006-02-17T08:29:00.000-08:00You now have 6 comments. You now have 6 comments.Alex Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02109059018269508607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18942841.post-1139602435424043172006-02-10T12:13:00.000-08:002006-02-10T12:13:00.000-08:00I love what you posted on Alexandra's blog about w...I love what you posted on Alexandra's blog about what an important role adults play in building kids' self esteem. I'm always amazed at how many kids I meet who don't seem to smile ... or always have to be first ... or who can't be in one place (body and mind) because they are always being rushed to what's next. Your connection to karate especially touched me because I can see my son doing this for a long, long time.

Your artwork is intense and wonderful ... off to explore your other site!

Happy weekend ...HoBesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10094740252136028478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18942841.post-1139555506791863552006-02-09T23:11:00.001-08:002006-02-09T23:11:00.001-08:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Laini Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14064837312936707024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18942841.post-1139555467513830722006-02-09T23:11:00.000-08:002006-02-09T23:11:00.000-08:00These are so funny & silly! Often times I can think something is really funny when I am reading but for some reason I don't laugh out loud. THIS time, reading through your replies, I laughed OUT LOUD. That is the ultimate compliment Jim------! Why didn't you ever tell me you'd invented the Slinky? Did you think I wouldn't believe you? Because I totally do. In fact, I wondered privately to myself if you had from time to time because of the LY-Y2K-canteloupe thing. It seems now that not only are you withholding (2 h's or 1?) floral paintings from me but now inventions too. Anyway, thank you for heeding the tag call again. YOu're off tag duty for one week, -oh!!! and i was able to open the MP illustration on my email at work- WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're an obvious shoe-in you mighty Wonderwoof!!!! (seriously, it is AMAZING-beautiful-and powerful!)Alex Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02109059018269508607noreply@blogger.com
