I am so, so happy for you two. This book is one of the most beautiful collaborations that there could be and so incredibly well deserved. Congratulations to you two!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its about time the stupid world caught on and enjoyed what you two have worked so hard to create. "Aunt B"
I couldn't be more thrilled! Really, truly could not :) :) :) Lips Touch DESERVES this and so much more. Congratulations to you and Laini, and may this be the first of MANY honors!!
I love the whole concept you did with the illustrations! I really like making illustrations like you did with this book: taking a step further from the text. I'm often making illustrations where it's not clear right away what they mean or how they relate, but after you've read the text, it starts to make sense. My teachers don't like it though, they want more of the straight forward things... But you've proved that working in this way can make it so much more exciting!!!! Amazing work! Congratulations to both you and Laini!
